SEED’s for De Pere to host Sustainability Gathering

SustainAbility Gathering on Saturday, February 20^th, 2010.

This event is for organizations that are already promoting sustainability.  Groups will have the opportunity to share their current sustainable practices, to make contact with other like-minded organizations in order to spark new ideas and projects and to grow the sustainability movement within the Greater Green Bay Area.

The format of the meeting will be informal and will begin with a meet and greet style continental breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Peace and Justice Center of Saint Norbert College in De Pere.  (The room number has yet to be determined and will be included in a formal invitation, approximately two weeks before the event.)  Large and small group discussions will allow organizations to share what they are doing to encourage and uphold sustainable practices and to explore any future projects they may be planning, such as Earth Week activities.

If your organization would be interested in sending one or two representatives to the event, the sign-up form is HERE to be completed and emailed to jshampo@deperechamber.org.  It will provide other organizations with information about your group.  If you have questions or feedback regarding this event or want to confirm your attendance, please respond by e-mail along with your organization’s information to:  jshampo@deperechamber.org

The form calls out a deadline of January 29th, but register anyway!  You have some time yet.
