Who are we?
The De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce (DPACC) has existed in one form or another since the 1930’s, but was official re-titled in early 2007.
From 2001-2007, the organization was titled the dba (De Pere Business Alliance), a joint venture between the De Pere Development Corporation (pre-name for Main Street De Pere, Inc.) and the De Pere Area Business Association.
Prior to that, back to 1988, it was known as the De Pere Business Association. Before THAT, it was the East De Pere Businessmen’s Association and the West De Pere Business Association. And previous to those two organizations formations, it was the De Pere Chamber of Commerce.
Whew! Aren’t you glad you asked?
All things old are new again!
Today, the DPACC has 220 members, representing thousands of employees of companies in the City of De Pere, City of Green Bay, Ashwaubenon, Ledgeview, Wrightstown and more!!
We are a member-owned organization with 4 staff, many interns and a LOT of volunteers.
Our vision: To be a member-driven organization fostering a cooperative environment among service, retail, manufacturing and government interests, to enhance economic development and the life experience in the De Pere area.
Our mission: To support the success of our members and champion community prosperity, by fostering economic development, and serving as the voice of business.
